Gusy Van der Zandt Relocates to 261 Madison Avenue

NEW YORK CITY—In a transaction arranged by Savitt Partners, Gusy Van der Zandt LLP has committed to a 2,800-sq.-ft. lease at 261 Madison Avenue. Currently located in a 1,400-sq.-ft. space at 500 Fifth Avenue, the transaction will enable the law firm to double its size.

Elliot Zelinger of Savitt Partners represented Gusy Van der Zandt in the 10-year lease transaction. Myles Fennon, Robert Gallucci, Alan Wildes and Bruce Mosler of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building ownership.

“Gusy Van der Zandt is currently subleasing space and wanted a direct lease,” said Zelinger, who added that the firm was also looking for additional space for its growing business practice.

Gusy Van der Zandt is a multilingual law firm offering U.S. and international legal services to companies and entrepreneurs. Their practice focuses on corporate and commercial contracts, litigation, arbitration, intellectual property and information technology.

Located between 38th and 39th streets, 261 Madison Avenue is a 412,000-sq.-ft., class-A office building.
