Nelson Tower Secures Leases for More Than 7,000 Sq. Ft.

NEW YORK—The Nelson Tower, located at 450 Seventh Ave., has closed two lease deals totaling 7,569 sq. ft. of space. The Kaufman Organization secured the leases on behalf of the building ownership.

In the first lease, Jassin Consulting Group, a management-consulting firm, has signed for 3,169 sq. ft. spanning a five-year term. Its space at 450 Seventh Ave. will serve as the firm’s U.S. headquarters. Barbara Raskob of Kaufman Organization represented the landlord and Grant Greenspan, along with Howard Rosenblum of Kaufman Organization, represented the tenant in the transaction.

In addition, Bloom Hochberg & Co. PC, an accounting firm, has signed a seven-year renewal to occupy the entire 41st floor at the building. A tenant at Nelson Tower for more than 40 years, the firm was represented by Steven Kaufman of Kaufman Organization, which also represented the landlord in the transaction.

Located in Manhattan’s Fashion District, 450 Seventh Ave. includes such tenants as Citibank Real Estate, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Coal Fire, among others. The property is in close proximity to Herald Square and Penn Station.
