Studley Brings Two New Tenants to 120 Broadway

NEW YORK—Studley recently represented tenants in new leases at 120 Broadway, The Equitable Building, totaling a combined 96,000 sq. ft.

In the first transaction, Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty (Met Council), a human services agency, signed for 51,000 sq. ft. of space. The organization will occupy the entire seventh floor at the property and will relocate from its space at 80 Maiden Lane. Studley’s Marc Shapses, Ira Schuman and Bruce Rothman represented Met Council in the transaction. The landlord, Silverstein Properties, was represented in-house by Roger Silverstein and Joseph Artusa.

In the second transaction, Strategies for Wealth, an investment advisory firm, signed a lease for 45,000 sq. ft. of space and will consolidate its current 25,000-sq.-ft. office location at 140 Broadway, and its 7,500-sq.-ft. office location at 75 Broad to the new location. Studley’s Shapses and Joe Messina represented the client in the transaction. Silverstein was represented in-house by Roger Silverstein and Joseph Artusa.
