MIPIM CONFERENCE TO SHOWCASE TOP INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

For many U.S. real estate investors, MIPIM — Europe's largest property markets conference — is a gateway to international business growth. With nearly 15,000 attendees from a variety of backgrounds, including developers, brokers, end users, architects and regional authorities, the conference has been widely credited with fostering cross-border transactions since its inauguration in 1990.

This year, the 15th annual MIPIM conference will take place March 9-12 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. During the conference, MIPIM will award one international developer with the coveted Architectural Review Future Projects Prize. The award showcases the top international property developments that are in the planning and design stages. More than 200 entries are expected in several categories, including retail, residential, mixed use and urban master planning.

The conference also will feature a “Mayor's Symposium” that brings the mayors of four major international cities together to discuss the current real estate concerns. Ken Livingstone, mayor of London, says MIPIM “is an ideal platform for cities such as London to highlight flagship regeneration and development schemes.”
