NEW YORK—Interpublic Group (IPG) has leased 87,000 sq. ft. of space at 1400 Broadway. IPG will occupy two-and-a-half floors when it relocates is offices from its current space at 161 Avenue of the Americas and 28-40 West 23rd Street later this year.
Scott Panzer, Robert Romano and Shannon Rzeznikiewicz from Jones Lang LaSalle represented IPG in the transaction, while Scott Klau, Erik Harris and Neil Rubin of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the landlord.
Owned by W&H Properties and supervised by Malkin Holdings, 1400 Broadway recently underwent an $81 million upgrade program, which included a new lobby, new entrance doors, ceiling, lighting and concierge desks, which provide 24/7 security. Additional renovations included new elevators, renovated air-conditioned public corridors and restrooms, windows and upgraded building-wide systems.
