Heller Financial Inc. John Petrovski has been named group president of this Chicago-based commercial finance company. Most recently,he was managing director, national structured finance and has been with Heller since 1987. Deborah Riley has been promoted to executive vice president and national originations manager of the small business finance group. She will be responsible for the company's high growth small business lending.

Koll Development Co. This Newport Beach, Calif.-based commercial real estate firm has appointed Dominic J. Petrucci as executive vice president of its Phoenix division. Petrucci is responsible for the company's development activities in Arizona and New Mexico. He is a 13-year veteran of commercial real estate.

CB Richard Ellis/Nicklies Joseph B. Helm Jr. has been named vice president in the office properties division of this Louisville, Ky.-based commercial real estate company. Previously, Helm was executive director of the Kentucky Real Estate Commission.

Great Lakes REITs This Chicago-based real estate investment trust has named Raymond M. Braun CIO. He is responsible for the company's real estate acquisitions. Previously, he was with The Balcor Co.

J.E. Robert Cos. Russell Platt has joined this McLean, Va.-based real estate investment firm as principal and president of its JER International division. His responsibilities will include national investment and asset management activities for the company. Platt was with Morgan Stanley for 16 years prior to joining JER.

Lefrak Organization This Queens, N.Y.-based management firm has named Harrison T. LeFrak as president of its Midstate Management subsidiary. Previously, LeFrak has held positions at J.P. Morgan and Philip Morris companies.

ONCOR International This Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate firm has named Thomas J. Hynes Jr., chairman of its World Board. Hynes is president and director of Meredith & Grew ONCOR International. As chairman, his responsibilities with include implementing the company's long-range, strategic business plan.

Lee & Associates Ted Rommel has been elected to the board of directors and named vice president of this Tustin, Calif.-based industrial real estate firm. Rommel previously was with the Irvine, Calif., office of Iliff Thorn & Co. and joined Lee & Associates in 1991.

Harbert Realty Services Inc. Harry M. Lynch has been named president and CEO. Previously, Lynch served as the company's executive vice president and COO. Previously, he was with Atlanta-based Carter & Associates as vice president in charge of the Birmingham, Ala., division.

Clay Development & Construction Inc. This Houston-based commercial real estate development and construction firm has named Albert W. Clay III as president. Clay has more than 25 years experience in industrial real estate brokerage and development.

Konover Property Trust Inc. This Cary, N.C.-based real estate investment trust has promoted six of its executives. Connell Radcliff has been named executive vice president, development; Robin Malphrus, has been named senior vice president, general counsel; Bruce A. Anderson, has been named senior vice president, acquisitions; Charlotte Ellis, has been named senior vice president, marketing and public relations; Irene K. Bates, has been named vice president, marketing; and Timothy W. Henson has been named vice president, anchor leasing.

Highridge Partners Mark E. Abramson has been named executive vice president of Haverford Capital, one of this El Segundo, Calif.-based real estate investment and development firm's operating companies. His responsibilities will include the day-to-day operations of the company. Larry M. Matsui was promoted to executive vice president and CFO for another operating company, El Segundo, Calif.-Summit Commercial Properties.

White Lodging Services Corp. Lawrence Burnell has been appointed COO and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of this Merrillville, Ind.-based hotel management company. He will maintain his responsibilities as executive vice president and finance and administration and CFO.

Real Estate Industries Inc. This Atlanta-based real estate firm has appointed Kathy Nunnally Anemogiannis president. Anemogiannis was previously with Deloitte & Touche LLP as national director, Center for Applied Real Estate Research & Technology.

The Appraisal Foundation Bruce A. Kellogg MAI, has been elected to the board of trustees of this Washington, D.C.-based appraisal standards and qualifications organization. Kellogg is currently managing director of appraisal standard for Cushman & Wakefield Inc.'s Valuation Advisory Services and publisher of its bi-annual investor survey.

Julien J. Studley Inc. This New York-based real estate firm has named Rosey T. Miller as senior managing director in its Westwood, Calif., office. Prior to joining Studley, Miller was with Grubb & Ellis Co. for 12 years. His duties will include representation of Fortune 500 companies and national and local non-profit organizations in real estate transactions.

AMB Property Corp. W. Blake Baird has been named managing director and CIO of this San Francisco-based real estate firm. His duties will include overseeing capital raising and deployment, mergers and acquisitions, implementation of strategic initiatives and other financial areas. Prior to joining AMB, Baird was with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a managing director.

Eberhardt Co. Henry S. Kesler has joined this Salt Lake City-based real estate firm's Commercial Mortgage Production Office as senior vice president. Kesler brings almost 30 years of experience in commercial banking, real estate finance, mortgage servicing and appraisal to his new position. Prior to joining Eberhardt he held positions with Republic Mortgage Commercial and Kesler Mortgage Services.

Transwestern Rux Currin has been named vice president, development services of this Chicago-based real estate firm's Midwest Division. His new duties will include growing the principal, fee and build-to-suit development practice. He brings with him more than 15 years commercial real estate and development experience.

The Cheshire Group LLC Jenifer Steig has been named senior vice president of this Manhattan-based real estate investment firm. In her new position she will be responsible for asset management of a portfolio of cooperative apartments. Prior to joining Cheshire, Steig served with the REO Marketing division of Crossland Federal Savings Bank as an asset manager.

Commonfund William K. Krauch has been named a trustee of the board of Commonfund Realty, a subsidiary of Westport, Ct.-based Commonfund Group. Previously, he was vice chairman and executive managing director of Los Angeles-based Westmark Realty Advisors. Martin L. Budd was promoted to trustee to the Board of Commonfund Realty. Budd chairs Day, Berry & Howard's Business Law Department and practices securities and corporate law.

Jim Didion, current chairman and CEO of this Los Angeles-based real estate firm, will officially pass his CEO responsibilities to Ray Wirta, current COO, to coincide with the annual shareholder meeting on May 18. Didion will remain chairman while assuming the position of senior adviser of global integration of the company's real estate services. Brett White will retain his position as president, brokerage services, and will assume Wirta's former position as chairman, North America.
