Penney Lane

JCPenney pushed the limits with its latest “pop-up “ store, a 15,000-square-foot shop that sat in Times Square. It was part of the largest marketing blitz in the company's history. At the “virtual store,” shoppers could place orders at computers and kiosks and have merchandise delivered to them later. The store had no cash registers.
