Stone Care International Inc. manufactures a complete line of affordable maintenance products for marble, granite, ceramic tile, agglomerates, terazzo, slate and grout. SCI has a product and procedure to maintain any type of stone and stone texture. SCI currently provides free on-site training, free technical support and a free evaluation of your tile. The company has a factory-trained staff that services the entire United States and Canada, serving malls, department stores, office buildings (interior and exterior), condominium complexes and hotels.

For safe and user friendly stone maintenance, SCI recommends sealing the floor with Stoneguard Penetrating Sealer. Stoneguard will protect the interior of the stone and grout from staining. It repels spills and harmful chemicals from penetrating into the stone's surface. Marbalex is recommended for daily cleaning and conditioning. It can be used in an automatic scrubber or applied with a mop. if the stone surface requires a natural polish, this can be accomplished without any coatings by using SCI-M Marble Polishing Powder. Agglomerate and Terrazzo surfaces would use the same program.. Stoneguard, Marbalex and SCI-M powder. Granite surfaces will use the same process but use SCI-GD or GL Polishing Powder for granite.

Ceramic and porcelain tile can be maintained using Cerami-clean clean. Bathroom stone can be cleaned with Marbadan Stone Disinfectant Cleaner, which is the only disinfectant designed for natural stone. To protect fountains and vanity tops, SCI recommends International Stone Polish. This will protect the top of the surface and help prevent hard water buildup.
