Newport Beach, Calif.-based Koll Construction LP has been awarded construction duties for Marriott Courtyard on Fair Oaks in Pasadena, Calif. The company plans to demolish an existing two-story office building and construct a 314-room, six-story Marriott Courtyard hotel in its place.
Designed by Feola + Archuleta Architects, the hotel's interior and exterior are intended to reflect Pasadena's rich architectural style and history. The project will feature stone flooring and cherry wood trim, reminiscent of such city building designs as Old Town Pasadena. Koll will oversee the installation of all interior finishes and furnishings.
