CRESA Partners J. Michael Dow has been named to the newly created position of president and CEO of New York-based CRESA Partners. He is responsible for administrative and managerial leadership, and expansion of the company. Previously, Dow served as chairman and CEO of New York-based Jones Lang Wootton USA Inc.

The Rose Group Greg Mast has been promoted from vice president to executive vice president of real estate services for The Rose Group, Morton Grove, Ill. He is in charge of overseeing the daily operations of the firm's property management division. Prior to joining The Rose Group , Mast served as vice president of the Mackinanc Island, Mich., Grand Hotel and national sales manager of the Chicago Swissotel.

Central Park Capital LP Lou Gehrig Martin has joined Atlanta-based Central Park Capital LP as director of the streamline loan program. He is responsible for originating, marketing and monitoring all activities of this program. Previously, Martin was director of national sales of large commercial real estate at West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Ocwen Federal Bank.

First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. Robert H. Muir has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president of First Industrial's development group. His responsibilities include overseeing the development group's operations. Previously, Muir served as president of Tampa, Fla.-based R.H. Muir Inc.

Insignia/ESG Inc. Alan Ballew has been promoted from senior vice president of operations and administration to executive vice president and national controller for New York-based Insignia/ESG Inc. He is responsible for the U.S. commercial real estate accounting functions. Previously, Ballew served as vice president of operations and procedures for New York-based Insignia Financial Group. Also, Michael J. O'Hanlon has joined Insignia as executive director. He assumes responsibility for all business units and growth of the Dallas/Fort Worth office. Previously, O'Hanlon was senior managing director of New York-based Cushman & Wakefield's Midwest area.

Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. Richard McBlaine has been named CEO of global consulting for Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. He is responsible for leading the firm's global advisory services team. Previously, McBlaine was managing director and executive committee member of Chicago-based Jones Lang Wootton's corporate and advisory services group, and served as CEO and board member of JLW's International Corporate Real Estate Services.

Lowe Enterprises Investment Management Inc. Bleecker P. Seaman has been promoted from vice president and CFO of the Destination Hotels & Resorts division of Los Angles-based Lowe Enterprises Inc. to executive vice president and COO of Lowe Enterprises Investment Management Inc. He is responsible for managing all post-acquisition activities for LEIM's fiduciary clients, including oversight of client property activities, client reporting, and communications and client servicing. Previously, he served as assistant director of real estate investments for the Harrisburg, Pa.-based Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System (PREIT).

Federated Department Stores Susan Bertelsen Finkelstein has been promoted from vice president special services at Macy's West to senior vice president of new business development at Federated Merchandising Group for New York-based Federated Department Stores Inc. Her duties include exploring and implementing new areas of business opportunity. Finkelstein began her career with Macy's in 1978.

The Webb Cos. Woodford Webb has joined The Webb Cos., Lexington, Ky., as president and corporate counsel. His new responsibilities include day-to-day management of the company with a focus on legal and financial management and investment analysis. Previously, he served as partner with Lexington, Ky.-based Webb Hoskins Glover & Thompson and retains that position. Also promoted was Kenneth P. Michul from vice president of leasing to executive vice president of leasing, property management and brokerage. He is responsible for a $2 million portfolio of office and industrial properties and all brokerage activities.

Julien J. Studley Inc. (Photo) Seth Dudley, Los Angeles office executive managing director, has been appointed to the board of New York-based Julien J. Studley Inc. He is responsible for strategic development and implementation. Dudley is a 22-year veteran of Studley. Also, Joseph Learner has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president and continues as co-branch manager. His responsibilities, corporate strategies, remain the same. Previously, he served as a real estate tax consultant for Chicago-based Arthur Andersen & Co.

Transwestern Group (photo) Caron Dean Shore, chief administrative officer, has been named to the board of Chicago-based Transwestern Group. She is currently responsible for strategic initiatives and operations for the company's national support services, including human resources and public relations. Prior to joining Transwestern in 1997, she served as director of administration and risk management for Insignia/ESG.

The Goodman Co. Bill Shewalter has been promoted from CFO to COO of The Goodman Co. West Palm Beach, Fla. He is responsible for expansion of development operations. Previously, Shewalter served as CFO of the community center division for Chicago-based Homart Shopping Centers.

The Staubach Co. Bob Berry has joined The Staubach Co., Dallas, as executive vice president and industrial sales manager. He is responsible for leading the industrial team. Previously, Berry was a partner with Houston-based Brown, Berry and Co.

RMC/Konover Property Trust Seth B. Layton has joined Tampa, Fla.-based RMC/Konover Property Trust as executive vice president. He is responsible for the firm's strategic leadership. Previously, he served as vice president of real estate and store development for Bradenton, Fla.-based Beall's Inc.

Westwood Capital LLC Matthew J. Pechinski has joined New York-based Westwood Capital LLC as senior vice president. He is responsible for the firm's strategic planning. Previously, he was an associate with New York-based Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Trademark B. Thomas Miller Jr. has joined Fort Worth, Texas-based Trademark as CIO. He is responsible for directing company investments and finance. Prior to joining Trademark, Miller served as executive vice president of Atlanta-based OmniOffices Inc., a division of Washington, D.C.-based CarrAmerica Realty Corp.

Cushman & Wakefield Paul N. Glickman has been promoted from senior director to executive director of New York-based Cushman & Wakefield. He is responsible for both landlord and tenant representation. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Glickman served as managing director of New York-based Galbreath Co.

Jeffrey M. Brown Associates Inc. Edward Opall has joined New York-based Jeffrey M. Brown Associates Inc. as CFO. He is responsible for the company's overall financial management. Prior to joining JMB, Opall served as controller for Philadelphia-based Omicron Consulting. Also, Hector Batista has joined JMB as vice president of corporate affairs. He is responsible for new business development, government affairs and marketing. Prior to joining JMB he worked at the New York City Housing Preservation and Development Department as first deputy commissioner and chief of staff for Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

The Morgan Group Inc. Alan Patton has been promoted from executive vice president to president of The Morgan Group Inc., Houston. He is in charge of raising equity and construction financing, handling joint-venture relationships, and disposition and acquisition of MGI properties. Most recently, he was managing director of the Houston-based Chase Bank of Texas Realty Advisory Group.
