That Will be 35 Cents for the Toll and $1 for the Krispy Kreme

Los Angeles-based developer Wilton Partners is working with HMSHost, the food service company, on a $94 million Tollway Oases redevelopment project in Illinois. The food and rest stops will mostly be built above the highway, providing quick access to the 1.2 million who travel the route daily as well as local residents. Under the new 25-year triple-net lease agreement, the Tollway authority and Wilton will create 24-hour quick-stop destinations, including Subway, Panda Express, Krispy Kreme, TravelMart, Fifth Third Bank and renovated rest stops, along with new ExxonMobil stations.
