MetLife Buys Perimeter's Terraces Project

Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. is making another big investment in the central Perimeter, an office market it helped create. MetLife (NYSE: MET) bought The Terraces, twin 11-story office buildings in Dunwoody, for $190 million, according to Dekalb County records. MetLife paid about $173 a foot for the property, which counts State Farm Insurance Co.; software firm, Ventyx; and AFC Enterprises Inc., franchiser and operator of Popeyes restaurants, among its tenants.
