DEERFIELD, ILL.—Chicago-based Bedding Experts signed a lease for 4,019 sq. ft. of space at Deerfield Village Centre on Chicago’s North Shore. Mid-America Asset Management Inc. Vice President Liz Krebs and Leasing Representative Sarah Drumgould represented the landlord in the lease, while Matt Smetana and Mike Wesley of Edgemark represented the tenant.
Deerfield Village Centre is located at the southeast corner of Waukegan and Deerfield Roads in Deerfield. The center features 44,083 sq. ft. of retail space that includes Chipotle, Leather Creations, Sprint and Starbucks among others, while an additional 20,216 sq. ft. of space is tenanted by offices. Across the street is Deerfield Square, which is anchored by Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble and Ann Taylor.
Established in 1983, Bedding Experts is a retail mattress store featuring brands including Sealy, Stearns and Foster, TempurPedic and eco-friendly miForma. The company opened its new location in June.
