J.C. Anderson Selected for 50,000-Sq.-Ft. Build-out for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Chicago

CHICAGOMorgan Stanley Smith Barney has selected J.C. Anderson Inc. for a 50,000-sq.-ft. remodel for its space at 70 West Madison in Chicago. J.C. Anderson Inc.’s Tom Raveret is serving as the project executive and Sara Schumacher is the project manager. Wight & Company is the architect for the project.

J.C. Anderson will complete renovations for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s office situated on the 51st and 52nd floors. The phased remodel will include the construction of millwork office fronts with tinted glass, fabric wall coverings, raised flooring and carpet tile throughout. J.C. Anderson will also add a new ceiling with direct and indirect lighting.

“We are phasing the construction over 13 phases to minimize the disruption to the firm’s on-going operations,” said Schumacher. “We expect that the project will be complete prior to year-end and that our skilled millwork craftsmen will enhance the traditional and well-appointed design of the space.”

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney provides clients with financial consulting and retirement services.
