KapStone Signs Long-Term Lease at Butterfield III

AURORA, IL—KapStone Paper & Packaging Corp. has signed a long-term lease at Butterfield III, an industrial buiding at 2759 N. Eola Road in the Butterfield Distribution Center park here.

The tenant is leasing 192,000 sq. ft. of a 506,000-sq.-ft. facility owned by Malvern, Pa.-based Liberty Property Trust. The lease brings the building to 100-percent occupied, alongside tenants such as Menlo Logistics. In total, Liberty owns 13 industrial buildings in and around Aurora.

“We are very excited to welcome KapStone to our Chicago portfolio,” said Neal Driscoll , vice president and director of leasing and development for the Liberty Illinois region, in a statement. “Equally exciting is the dramatic increase in activity along the Interstate 88 Corridor in the past three months, particularly with larger users such as KapStone. It’s been a terrific start to the new year.”
