Opus Development Corporation Opens St. Louis Office, Names Joe Downs Senior Director

ST. LOUIS, MO.—Opus Development Corporation has opened a new office location in St. Louis, Mo. and named Joe Downs as senior director of real estate development. In this role, Downs will be responsible for business opportunities in the St. Louis market across office, industrial, multifamily, retail, higher education and government.

Most recently, Downs served as vice president at The Love Companies, where he was responsible for pursuing and executing real estate developments, sourcing investment opportunities for Limestone Real Estate Investment Fund and managing Heartland Bank’s real estate assets.

Prior to The Love Companies, Downs spent more than eight years at Opus Northwest LLC, where he worked on the design-build side of the business.

Downs is a LEED-accredited professional.
