Two Leases Signed in Chicago’s I-88 Corridor

LOMBARD, IL—Two office leases were signed recently in the Interstate 88 Corridor of Chicago as Sonnenschein Financial Services Inc. has leased about 9,091 sq. ft at Two Trans Am Plaza Drive in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. and Waste Management has expanded its lease by about 40,000 sq. ft. at Butterfield Centre here.

The Waste Management expansion was completed as part of a consolidation of a company group relocating from offices at 1431 Opus Place in Downers Grove, Ill. Butterfield Centre, owned by Travelers Insurance, is a 145,814-sq.-ft. building at 700 E. Butterfield Road. The Two Trans Am Plaza building is 117,717 sq. ft., owned by Two Transam Plaza Associates.

Michael Van Zandt, senior vice president, Brian Edgerton, vice president, and Matt Novak, associate, with NAI Hiffman’s office services group, represented the owners in the two lease deals. John Musgjerd with Jones Lang LaSalle represented Waste Management. James Otto with James Otto & Co. represented Sonnenschein Financial.
