National Resources is developing Edgewater Square, a mixed-use project in Edgewater, N.J. When completed, the property will feature 100,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurants and 480 high-end residences.

Centro Properties Group US appointed Tiffanie M. Fisher as executive vice president and CFO. Fisher replaces John Braddon. Prior to joining Centro Properties, Fisher worked as director of Morgan Stanley Real Estate.

Hull Storey Gibson Cos. reopened the renovated 187,000-sq.-ft. Ponce de Leon Mall in St. Augustine, Fla.

PDM, Inc. will redevelop the 160,000-sq.-ft. Baker Square shopping center in West Omaha, Neb.

Cohen Commercial Properties hired Robert Friedman as CEO. Prior to joining Cohen Commercial, Friedman served as a founding partner of a $500 million private equity fund and as an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions group of Lazard Freres & Co. Cohen also hired Jonathan Lehr as senior financial analyst. Previously, Lehr worked as an equity research analyst with a New York-based hedge fund.

Stanbery Development opened the 121,087-sq.-ft. Shoppes at Cross Keys in Gloucester Township, N.J.

Tri-land Properties will redevelop the 118,000-sq.-ft. Cherokee South Plaza in Overland Park, Kan. The redevelopment will include the addition of a 15,000-sq.-ft. Walgreens as a new anchor. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2009.

Resolution Economics hired David Eisner as head of its new real estate practice. The practice will focus on helping financial institutions deal with toxic real estate assets.

Illi Commercial Real Estate appointed Eli Shtrum as vice president. Prior to joining the firm, Shtrum was in charge of sales and leasing activities at LS Realty Group.

Faris Lee Investments appointed Richard Berlinghof as principal. Prior to joining Faris Lee Investments, Berlinghof served as director with Merrill Lynch's New York City office. Faris Lee also hired Eric Rosa as managing director of financial institutions. Previously, Rosa worked at Glendale Federal Bank, Chinatrust Bank and the First Bank of Beverly Hills.

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services promoted W. Michael Bennett to vice president of investments. Previously, Bennett served as associate vice president of investments.

Baum Realty Group hired Ken Galvin as vice president with its tenant representation team. Prior to joining Baum Realty, Galvin served as vice president with Staubach Retail.

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. hired Michael Leggett as co-head of the firm's San Francisco office. Prior to joining Holliday Fenoglio, Leggett worked at Cornish & Carey Commercial.
