Bank of Tokyo Expands Commitment in Jersey City

NEW JERSEY—The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has signed a 17-year, 100,274-sq.-ft. expansion lease bringing the bank’s total leased space to 261,957 sq. ft. at Harborside Plaza 3 in Jersey City.

Owned by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, Harborside Plaza 3 is part of the Harborside Financial Center, which is comprised of five Class A office buildings totaling 3.1 million sq. ft. of space.

In addition, the campus provides access to retailers, restaurants and plans for multi-family development. The campus is currently more than 97 percent leased.

Harborside Plaza 3 is comprised of 12 stories and totals 725,600 sq. ft. of Class A office space.

The tenant was represented in the transaction by Fred Smith and Curtis Foster of Cushman & Wakefield.
