NEW JERSEY—Colliers International New Jersey has named 17-year industry veteran Thomas Romano executive managing director to head the company’s Princeton’s office.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Romano was a managing principal at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's Princeton office. Previously he was a partner in the firm Buschman Partners and GVA Williams Buschman.

Throughout his career, Romano has represented United Way, Northwestern Mutual Life, Gilbane, Mandelbaum & Mandelbaum, GHP Office Realty, Nexus Properties, Brandywine Realty Trust, R. Berman Development and MLSeven, among others.

Romano has completed transactions totaling more than 3.5 million square feet with an aggregate value in excess of $350 million.

“Colliers International New Jersey has built up a dominant presence in the Northern and Central New Jersey office, industrial and pharmaceutical markets, and now with our plan to further expand in the Princeton area, we sought out an industry leader who could help drive those efforts,” said Robert Martie, EVP.
