Hitachi Power Systems America Renews Lease at Liberty Corner Executive Center

NEW JERSEY—Hitachi Power Systems America Ltd. (HPSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi America Ltd., has signed a lease renewal for its 50,000 sq. ft. of office space at Liberty Corner Executive Center in Bernards Township, N.J.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF)Vice Chairman Merrill Roth represented HPSA, which has occupied the space at 645 Martinsville Road since 2005. The landlord, Murray Construction Co. Inc., was represented by Brian Fitzsimons, Murray Construction’s SVP and director of real estate; Douglas Friedrich, its president and COO; and Michael Nachtome, SVP and general counsel.

Liberty Corner Executive Center is a three-story, 86,000-sq.-ft. class A office building, which recently underwent a capital improvement program that included updates to its roof, façade, common areas and central chiller.

NGKF serves as exclusive agent to market the remaining space in the property. Jamie Drummond, senior managing director, and David Simson, vice chairman and COO of NGKF's N.J. operations, are spearheading all leasing efforts.
