NAI Hanson Announces Sale of Retail Site in Bergenfield, N.J.

BERGENFIELD, N.J—NAI James E. Hanson, a New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, represented all parties in the sale of 19 South Washington Ave. in Bergenfield, N.J. The 3,619-sq.-ft. retail property traded for $400,000.

NAI Hanson Vice President Anthony J. Cassano completed the sale on behalf of owner, NBSC Holdings of Oak Ridge, N.J., and the buyer, Thek Family UC Realty Group.

"The buyer was attracted to the site due to its prime location on a main road in Bergen County with exceptional visibility and good parking," Cassano said in a statement. "The plan is to establish an urgent care medical facility on the property."

A former bank branch, the building was renovated and updated recently. It has 42 ft. of frontage with 12 parking spaces in the rear of the building, street parking, in addition to nearby municipal parking. The site has convenient access to numerous roadways, including Routes 4, 80, 46 and 17, and the Garden State Parkway.
