NEW YORK, NY—Broad Street Development (BSD), an investor, builder, owner, brokerage and management firm led by Raymond Chalmé and Daniel M. Blanco, had a record month at its Downtown properties, signing nearly 54,000 sq. ft. of leases during this time. Of the 12 deals signed, eight, totaling 34,418 sq. ft., were completed at 61 Broadwa,y and another 19,304 sq. ft. of transactions were inked at neighboring 55 Broadway.
The Energy Star-accredited 61 Broadway is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Downtown Financial District, and boasts a diverse tenant roster and extraordinary management team. The 700,000-sq.-ft., 33-story office tower is within close proximity to a number of major transportation thoroughfares. The tenant roster consists of an array of companies, including law firms and consultants, and those who practice in communications, nonprofits, and technological services.
BSD also completed another four transactions at its 32-story, class-A office building 55 Broadway. The class-A office tower boasts nearly full occupancy and features pre-built/built-to-suit office spaces, exceptional natural light and also offers sweeping views. Floor plates totaling more than 10,000 sq. ft. allow for full-floor occupancy or easy division for multi-tenant use.
