IFAC Updates Fifth Ave. HQ Digs

NEW YORK—John Gallin & Son Inc. has completed the interior renovation of 23,000 sq. ft. of space for International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) at 529 Fifth Avenue. The space serves as IFAC’s headquarters.

John Gallin & Son served as the general contractor with Robert Gallin serving as project manager. TPG Architecture served as project architect.

Renovations, which began in December 2011, included the creation of a new conference and meeting room space, a new reception area, reconfiguring office space to an open design and incorporating an existing interior staircase into the new design. In addition, concrete flooring was polished.

The job was completed on time and on budget.

Founded 35 years ago, IFAC membership spans 127 countries and jurisdictions.
