NEW YORK—Regus, a provider of flexible workplaces, has signed a 16-year, 54,991-sq.-ft. lease at 200 Vesey Street located in Brookfield Office Properties in Manhattan. Jones Lang LaSalle’s John Wheeler, managing director, Paul Glickman, vice chairman, and Clayton Kline, VP, represented the building owner in the transaction. Regus was represented by Mark Ravesloot, vice chairman, and Scott Sloves, SVP, of CBRE.
Containing 2.1 million sq. ft. of class A office space, 200 Vesey Street was previously known as 3 World Financial Center, and is located between North End Avenue and West Street. Regus will occupy the entire 24th floor at the property.
“The 8 million-sq. –ft. Brookfield Place complex, currently undergoing a $250 million redevelopment, has historically catered exclusively to large tenants,” said Wheeler. “Regus recognized the opportunity to create an environment for small tenants who can take advantage of Brookfield Place's unique attributes and amenities.”
