Taconic Investment Partners, Thor Equities Breaks Ground on 837 Washington

NEW YORK—Taconic Investment Partners and Thor Equities have broken ground on 837 Washington, an office and retail building designed by Morris Adjmi in the Meatpacking District.

Slated to open next fall, the property will be situated on the corner of Washington and 13th streets, the existing landmark structure will be restored within a brand new, 55,000-sq.-ft. space. The office portion will consist of approximately 40,000 sq. ft. and include two elevators, a private lobby and 12-ft.-high ceilings.

The building also offers private terrace spaces of approximately 500 sq. ft. on the second floor, 3,500 sq. ft. on the third floor and 3,000 sq. ft. on the roof.
