Bombardier Motor Corp. propels deal for 500,000 sq. ft. of space

STURTEVANT, Wis. – Montreal-based Bombardier Motor Corp. of America has acquired two office and industrial buildings totaling 500,000 sq. ft. from Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust. The 64-acre property in Sturtevant, Wis., is valued at more than $20 million and includes a two-story, 65,000 sq. ft. office building. A 400,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility will be used for the production of Evinrude and Johnson outboard engines.

First Industrial Realty Trust was represented in-house by Mark Saturno. Bombardier Motor Corp. of America was represented in the transaction by Keith Puritz and Brett Kroner of Cushman & Wakefield.
