Insignia Financial acquires Paris-based Groupe Bourdais

NEW YORK — Insignia Financial Group Inc. has agreed to acquire Paris-based Groupe Bourdais. The deal is part of Insignia’s corporate strategy to grow leadership positions in key European business centers.

Expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, the transaction is worth $30.74 million. Bourdais, which owns a 20% share of France’s office leasing and tenant rep market, was responsible for the largest warehouse investment transaction ever completed in Europe — a 1.15 million sq. ft. facility in Evry, south of Paris.
