MIE Properties begins construction on 840,000 sq. ft. technology park

BALTIMORE – MIE Properties Inc., Baltimore, has begun construction on two office/flex buildings for the 840,000 sq. ft., 12-building Ashburn Technology Park here. The first two buildings, which are 54,120 sq. ft. each and slated for completion this fall, will feature 16-foot high ceilings and adjacent surface parking. Ashburn Technology Park is located near Washington-Dulles International Airport, as well as business, hotel and retail areas. Andy Georgelakos and Kevin Goeller of KLNB Inc., the exclusive leasing representative for the technology park, will supervise marketing activities.
