C3 retained as developer for 315,000 sq. ft. retail project

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Boston-based Commercial Construction Consulting Inc. (C3) has been chosen by Rockport, Ind.-based Heritage Realty Inc., the property owner, to develop a 315,000 sq. ft. shopping center here. The three-building center will be anchored by a 175,000 sq. ft. Target Superstore, which will manage its own development. Commercial Construction Consulting will oversee the two smaller buildings totaling 140,000 sq. ft. The budget for the 33-acre site is $25 million, and the project is slated for completion in 2002.
