REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Pontiac Stadium Building Authority (“Authority”) in conjunction with the City of Pontiac has issued a Request for Proposal and Qualifications (RFP) offering real estate developers a unique opportunity to participate in the redevelopment of the approximately 127.5 acres of property that comprises the Pontiac Silverdomeâ. The Pontiac Silverdome site is located in the City of Pontiac, Michigan, USA. Formerly the home of the National Football League’s Detroit Lions, the site includes the Pontiac Silverdome, an air-supported domed stadium that seats 80,000 people, parking for 13,000 vehicles as well as other amenities including a 50,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose Mini-Domeâ.
Situated in Oakland County, the third wealthiest county in the United States, adjacent to two major freeways with easy access to four airports and surrounded by industrial parks, research facilities and office complexes, including DaimlerChrysler World Headquarters, the Pontiac Silverdome site offers developers a unique opportunity to participate in a large scale redevelopment project in one of the fastest growing areas in Michigan.
