GASTONIA, NC – Brackett Flagship Properties, LLC is pleased to announce that it has broken ground on a new home for Carolina Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, to be located at the intersection of Court Drive and Summit Crossing Place, in close proximity to Caromont Regional Medical Center.
This project kicks off the first of three phases that will include up to 70,000 square feet of additional medical office space available for development on the 12 acre site.
The 29,000-square-foot facility will provide Carolina Orthopaedic with additional space for administering exceptional bone, joint and muscle care. Located adjacent to the practice’s current location, the new building will offer patients an atmosphere that is better personalized to their individual needs, with environmentally friendly features, including motion sensor lighting, expanded digital X-ray services, pain management procedure suites and physical therapy services.
Clearing of the property began on August 26th, with occupancy projected for the summer of 2014. In addition to Brackett Flagship, the development team also includes general contractor Tyler 2 Construction, project architect Peterson Associates, and site and civil engineer American Engineering. Financing for the project was provided by First Citizen’s Bank.
