PRESS RELEASE: CoreNet NYC Presents Landmark Discussion with Rudolf W. Giuliani, 107th Mayor of New York City Days After the Election 11.7.13

NEW YORK, NY –  CoreNet Global New York  City Chapter (CoreNet NYC) is pleased to announce landmark dialogue with Mayor Rudy Giuliani entitled, “New York City in Transition: Rudy Giuliani, Provides Insights on Opportunities and Challenges Facing a New Mayor And Lessons Learned from the Past.” The event will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 5:30 PM at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City.

Just days after the 2013 New York City Mayoral Election, in a historic forum designed for the commercial real estate community, one of New York’s most impactful former mayors, the Rudy Giuliani, will illuminate the challenges and accomplishments of the Bloomberg era and offer a unique perspective on the City’s future through the transition of leadership.

An array of issues will be tackled from new economic growth to the increase of urbanization and how recent changes in policy will affect the safety of the City. In a moderated discussion, Mayor Giuliani will address the following concerns:

* Will New York remain a vibrant, safe and resilient place to live and do business?  

* What are the demands facing the incoming Mayor and using the foundation of the past, what can be done to create new local economic opportunities within the post-recession global community? 

* How will the new Mayor position New York as a leader in the technology sector and increase the continued migration of the millennials to our collaborative city; what can be recommend for the commercial real estate industry to adapt to a changing City?
