SKOKIE, IL - The Missner Group is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected for a 45,000 square foot interior renovation for the Chicago area location of Omnicell. The property is located at 3661 Burwood Drive in Waukegan, Illinois.
Omnicell, headquartered in Mountain View, California, is a nationwide provider of automated solutions for medication management, hospital supply management and supply dispensing systems. The firm recently renewed its lease at the north suburban property and has contracted The Missner Group to complete extensive renovations to the space. The project will feature improvements to 20,000 square feet of office space and 25,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Construction within the building will include new flooring, ceiling tiles and lighting throughout. The office area will be reconfigured for a new floor plan featuring an open work space, private offices and conference rooms. The Missner Group will also incorporate moveable partitions and indirect lighting throughout the office area. The project has been phased over the next several months in order to ensure Omnicell’s operations continue uninterrupted. The project is scheduled for completion in Winter 2014.
The construction team is led by The Missner Group’s Project Managers Jack Sbertoli and Curt Burns as well as Project Superintendent Angelo Christopher. Sara E.F. Gensburg, Ltd. is providing the architectural services. Brian Kling of Colliers International represented Omnicell in the lease negotiations and Whit Heitman of Cushman & Wakefield represented property ownership.
