Washington, D.C. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) is pleased to welcome Patrick Marr, Sally Wilson and Daniel Orcutt, CPM® to the firm's Washington, D.C. office, a move that underscores the company's commitment to being the premier full-service commercial real estate advisory firm in the area.

The three professionals offer multi-decade experience, most recently serving with CBRE. Mr. Marr and Ms. Wilson have garnered many professional awards for their leasing transactions, while Mr. Orcutt has developed key relationships with some of the country's largest real estate owners.

"Pat, Sally and Dan have superior track records," says Barry Gosin, CEO of NGKF. “We are hiring the best-in-class talent to offer the best services and platform."

Mr. Marr, a NGKF vice chairman in the Washington, D.C. Office, has spent nearly three decades negotiating some of the market's largest and most complex lease transactions. Mr. Marr and Ms. Wilson, whose practice focuses on tenant representation, have represented numerous AM 100 law firms in Washington, D.C. during the past decade and were awarded the Washington Business Journal's "Lease Transaction of the Year" in 2012.

"I'm thrilled to start the next leg of my career with a firm that is committed to attracting top-tier professionals," said Mr. Marr. "It's motivating to work with such accomplished individuals as well as to join a firm making such smart, long-term investments in its success."

Ms. Wilson has been named executive managing director of the Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Wilson taps her architecture background to advise and develop strategic real estate solutions to firms. Her specialties include portfolio management and headquarters transactions for law firms. In 2013, Ms. Wilson was recognized for her work alongside fellow CREW members on CREW DC’s "Transaction of the Year."

"I'm excited to join NGKF and a team of executives whom I respect and admire," said Ms. Wilson. “With their recent expansion and the opportunity to help grow the firm's presence in D.C., NGKF provides us the platform we need to advise our clients using a personalized and strategic approach."

Mr. Orcutt joins NGKF as director of management services. He will lead the firm's property management operations and staff throughout the region and work with the leasing and investment teams on agency business development to locate new management opportunities. Mr. Orcutt has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, working with such well-known clients as TIAA-CREF, Clarion Partners, James Campbell Company, Morgan Stanley and Invesco Realty Advisors. At CBRE, he oversaw 8 million square feet of office and industrial properties in the metro area.

"It's an honor to join such a great team with an innovative and collaborative business strategy," said Mr. Orcutt. "I not only look forward to working with my fellow professionals on the property management team, but I'm also excited to work closely with the leasing and investment executives to deliver the best services to real estate owners in D.C.”

“As we deepen our relationships with institutional property owners, it is imperative, especially in key real estate investment markets like Washington, D.C., that we have leaders who understand the business objectives of our clients,” said Randy Buddemeyer, president, Management Services. “This spans everything from marketing strategies to build-out processes to cost reduction initiatives. Dan has the broad experience and perspective that will allow us to make a measurable positive impact on the properties we manage in the D.C. region.”
