PRESS RELEASE: Olde York Potato Chips Assets to be Auctioned

Indianapolis, IN—The headquarters and manufacturing facility of Fort Wayne-based Olde York Potato Chips will be sold at auction on Thursday, October 31 at 10 a.m., according to Indianapolis-based Key Auctioneers.

The facility was constructed in 1988 and occupied by Olde York after they moved to Fort Wayne from the Toronto area in 2010. The court-ordered auction comes after Olde York ran into financial difficulties and a court-appointed receiver was assigned for their assets.

The auction includes the 36,671 square-foot manufacturing facility and its 8.99 acre lot, along with all of the company's manufacturing equipment: complete snack lines, trailers, tools and a waste-water reclaiming system.

An on-site inspection of the facility and equipment will take place on Tuesday, October 22 from 12-2 p.m. at 918 West Cook Road in Fort Wayne. The auction will also take place at the site.
