CHATHAM, NJ – Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., is pleased to announce the addition Raymond A. Sohmer, Senior Vice President, and Carol Reed, Senior Property Manager, bolstering the ranks of the firm’s brokerage and property management divisions. This announcement, which comes on the heels of a recent 12-member hiring spree, reflects the continued strategic growth of the New Jersey office.
Mr. Sohmer brings a wealth of commercial real estate experience and is highly regarded for his expertise in tenant representation, lease negotiation and strategy implementation. Ms. Reed will lead the property management division as Senior Property Manager, bringing more than 17 years of experience in real estate management, operations and project management.
Mr. Sohmer specializes in corporate office tenant representation and provides advisory and brokerage services to clients in New Jersey. Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, he served as Executive Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle and was the Senior Managing Director of brokerage operations in New Jersey for CBRE. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a senior broker at Grubb & Ellis, where he was one of the top three producers in New Jersey for six straight years and top 100 producers nationally for four years. He has completed more than 10 million square feet of office leasing transactions during his career and played a key role in many of New Jersey’s most significant lease and sale transactions. He has represented such prestigious companies as Merrill Lynch, Maidenform, Marsh & McLennan, IBM, Motorola and Tyco.
In her new role, Ms. Reed will manage Cassidy Turley in New Jersey’s 5 million-square-foot property management portfolio. Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, Ms. Reed served as Senior Property Manager at Mandelbaum & Mandelbaum, where she oversaw a portfolio of over 1.5 million square feet of commercial properties including office buildings, retail shopping centers and industrial properties in New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida. She began her career in property management at Zepka Goldberg Real Estate.
