PRESS RELEASE: Sperry Van Ness Sells Chicago Multi-Tenant Net Leased Building for Over $2.5 Million

CHICAGO – Sperry Van Ness is pleased to announce the sale of a 5,745-square-foot retail building located at 3949-59 N Broadway in Chicago. The asset commanded a sale price of $2,775,000 (or $483.00 per square foot). Recently completely renovated, the free-standing, single story, fully occupied asset features four tenants: Dunkin Donuts, Currency Exchange, GameStop and Nano Sushi, all secured by varying lease terms.

Sperry Van Ness Chicago Commercial was the second firm to take on the listing and Senior Advisors, Dan Elliot and Sean Lutz of SVN Net Lease were able to secure the sale as the only brokers involved in the transaction. “The property affords an experienced investor the opportunity to own a rarely available retail property in the heart of Wrigleyville that offers stability over the short term, while tremendous long term potential given it’s dense, high traffic, infill location. We were fortunate enough to work with a very qualified buyer actively pursuing investments like this in the Chicago area.” Elliot said.
