CHICAGO – Transwestern today announced it has been named the exclusive leasing agentfor150 East Huron, a 92,801-square-foot office building near Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. The Transwestern leasing team will be led by Katie Steele, Vice President and include the recently hired Courtney Baratz, Senior Associate along with Michael Lirtzman, Executive Vice President. Transwestern has also been selected as property manager for the office portion of the building owned by Driftwood Hospitality Management, LLC.

Due to the renovation, 150 East Huron will benefit from a renovated office lobby with new finishes, new elevator cabs and updated corridors. Built in 1981, this propertyfeatures a fitness facility, rooftop pool, valet parking, ground floor restaurant and bar, 24-hour business center and barber shop. The building offers cityscape views of the Magnificent Mile and is within walking distance to award-winning restaurants, retail, entertainment as well as medical and health services.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Courtney served as Leasing Manager for the Irvine Company, the leading owner and operator of Class A+ properties in California, where she was responsible for leasing two million square feet of office space, as well as pursuing acquisitions and new business development. Her unique approach to leasing increased the portfolio’s occupancy by 10% to achieve a 92% occupancy rate in a 9 month period. Additionally, Courtney worked for CBIZ Gibraltar Real Estate Services as a tenant representative broker in the CBD.
Baratz is a member of the YoungOffice Brokers Association (YOBA), the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
