PRESS RELEASE:650 Fifth Avenue Announces Theresa Morello as Property Manager

NEW YORK CITY – Theresa Morello, a property management veteran has been named as the new property manager at 650 Fifth Avenue, the 36-story, 382,500 square-foot office building in the Plaza District on 52nd Street.  The 650 Fifth Avenue Company made the announcement.

Dr. Houshang Ahmadi, president of the not-for-profit Alavi Foundation, the majority owner and managing partner of 650 Fifth Avenue Company. “We are extremely pleased to have her join the 650 team.”

In her new role, Ms. Morello will provide oversight of building management to ensure efficient operations of all building systems and ensure compliance with the building’s processes and procedures. Additionally she will support leasing by ensuring timely and high quality space preparation and oversee construction of new tenant spaces. She will also be responsible for developing an operating budget and maintaining enhanced tenant satisfaction.

Prior to joining 650 Fifth Avenue, Ms. Morello served as a general manager for Cushman and Wakefield Inc. for their New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Royal Charter properties. Her responsibilities included being the on-site lead for the dual campus portfolio of 36 residential and mixed use properties, provided guidance to the property management team and building staff employees and served as a point of contact for the Landlord to ensure their programs and initiatives are being fully implemented. Before her time at Cushman and Wakefield Inc., she worked as a property manager at 112 West 34th St a 750,000+ square foot commercial office building in Midtown Manhattan.

Ms. Morello holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Loyola College.
