Meridian Systems Software Wins Recognition

Meridian Systems, based in Folsom, Calif., has garnered an award from Building Operating Management magazine. The magazine named Meridian’s Proliance software a Top Product for 2009.

The BOM Top Products Awards recognize the most popular manufacturers and suppliers of the year, as determined by building and facility executives.

"Meridian is honored that Proliance has been named one of the industry's Top Products by Building Operating Management," says Sue Watkins, Meridian Systems director of marketing. The software helps companies control project costs and automate project management business processes, she says.

Proliance software delivers Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ILM) programs to building owners and real estate and construction organizations that plan, build and operate large complex capital project programs and facilities. Realcomm to Host Jan. 22 Wireless Buildings Webinar

Realcomm Conference Group, a research and educational organization, will hold a Webinar on Jan. 22, from 12:30p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Time on the process of going wireless. Industry experts and commercial real estate owners who have used wireless strategies in their properties will participate in the event.

Webinar topics will include the process of installing a wireless system, applications to consider, wireless integration with building systems, and financial models. The webinar also will discuss the demand for wireless coverage indoors, and provide an analysis of costs.

CoreNet New Jersey to Host Forum on Corporate Relocation

CoreNet Global NJ, the New Jersey State Chapter of CoreNet Global, a corporate real estate organization, has scheduled a CoRE Curriculum educational workshop on strategic planning for corporate headquarters on Feb. 4 at Advance Realty in Morris Township, N.J.

Joe Hamilton, senior vice president of strategic planning and advisory services for Cornish & Carey Commercial ONCOR International, based in Santa Clara, Calif., will conduct the workshop.

The event will focus on key components of the corporate headquarters location selection process, including establishing key decision criteria, examining existing and future employee demographics and headcount projection analysis.
